FESTIVAL OF INDIA is Toledo’s marquee cultural event presented by the community of Asian-Indian heritage for the last 25 years.

FESTIVAL OF INDIA is celebrating its 25th year with the theme ‘THE BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDING’.  
It will be held on SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 2014 AT CENTENNIAL TERRACE FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM. 
EVENT IS FREE!  PARKING IS FREE!  
PLENTY OF PARKING AT CENTENNIAL TERRACE AND THE LOT ACROSS FROM IT.

Join in an experience of India, Indian wedding and a Bollywood style musical – “The Big Fat Indian Wedding”.  Indian weddings are known for being very colorful and full of music, dance and variety of foods.  Centennial Terrace will be set up to create the ambience of an Indian Wedding.  Live India percussion music (Dhol), marriage procession, colorful dresses, Melodious music, Indian classical and folk dances, Photo opportunities with an Indian Bride, Food delicacies from around India, temporary henna tattoos in beautiful Indian designs, Lots of shopping (Indian clothes, jewelry, music, movies, books, arts & crafts)!
The event is attended by thousands of people from the Toledo community and covered by all major publications (Toledo Blade, Sylvania Herald, and Toledo Free Press) TV channels (PBS, Fox, CBS, ABC) and Radio Stations.
